HIGHLIGHTS

Higher PIRCHE-I scores in pediatric neuroblastoma patients undergoing haploidentical stem cell transplant were associated with faster platelet recovery and lower rates of hemorrhagic cystitis and invasive fungal infections.

Higher PIRCHE-I scores were also linked to improved overall survival in these patients.

Higher PIRCHE-II scores were associated with better overall survival and reduced disease progression.

Combining PIRCHE-I and PIRCHE-II scores further strengthened the association with improved overall survival, suggesting PIRCHE could be a valuable tool for donor selection in this setting.
